Consul General Attends Dubai Police Ceremony
Consul General Paul Sutphin joined Brig. Dr. Jamal Khalifa Al Marri, Deputy Commandant General, Dubai Police, as well as the Deputy Director of the Dubai Police Academy to present course award certificates at a graduation ceremony at the Academy on December 14 for 55 police officers from Dubai, other Emirates and other regional states. The officers completed a joint training course on “Weapons of Mass Destruction” taught by instructors from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy in Quantico, Virginia in the United States. The course was the latest in the ongoing cooperative program of training under the auspices of the Middle East Law Enforcement Training Center, a joint project of the Dubai Police and FBI Academy.
