EducationUSA Workshop for American Corner – Fujairah
October 25, 2009 – The U.S. Embassy and U.S. Consulate General organized a two day training program on American education at the American Corner at the HCT Fujairah Women’s College and the HCT Fujairah Men’s College.
The EducationUSA adviser, along with the regional educational specialist visiting from Morocco, gave workshops on undergraduate and graduate admissions processes, college applications, and required testing. In addition, they introduced participants to available summer programs and women’s colleges in the United States. The participants also watched a DVD about Gulf students studying in the USA.
These workshops are part of the EducationUSA programs, which actively promote United States higher education by offering comprehensive, objective and timely information about education institutions in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how best to access those opportunities.
