Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and HH Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Meet in Washington
September 8, 2009 – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with His Highness Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at the Department of State in Washington. The meeting was part of regular consultations between U.S. and Emirati officials on a broad range of bilateral and regional issues.
During his visit to the United States, His Highness will meet with several other senior U.S. Government officials, including Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, National Security Advisor General Jim Jones, and Members of Congress.
The trip highlights the strong bilateral ties between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
