Passport Information
The U.S. Consulate General Dubai processes U.S. passport applications during American Citizen Services hours (Sunday through Thursday, 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM). Personal appearance before a consular officer for all applicants (including children) is required. The U.S. Consulate General Dubai does not accept applications by mail.
U.S. passport applications received at the U.S. Consulate General Dubai are processed in the United States. This process takes an average of two weeks. Applicants are encouraged to apply for or renew their passports as early as possible.
U.S. passport applicants must present evidence of their identity and their U.S. citizenship. Both parents of children under age 14 must also give permission for passport issuance and present evidence of their relationship to the child. For more information, please click on the relevant link:
