Announcement

The Consular section of the U.S. Consulate General in Dubai will be closed to the public on Thursday, May 21, 2015.  The Consulate General will also be closed Sunday, May 24, 2015 in observance of Memorial Day.  U.S. passport collection and other routine services will not be available on these days.  Passport collection will resume Monday, May 25, 2015 from 12:30pm to 3:00pm.  For general inquiries on American Citizen Services, please call on Monday, May 25 from 8:00am to 10:00am or send an email to DubaiACS@state.gov

Location

The U.S. Consulate General in Dubai is located at the Corner of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road and Al Seef Road, Bur Dubai, Dubai, UAE

There is no dedicated public parking for the U.S. Consulate General.  However, there is ample paid parking across the street near the creek or near the British Consulate

From Abu Dhabi – Take Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai and pass the Trade Center Roundabout. Take Exit 55 towards Karama keeping to the left lane and exit on D84 Bur Dubai/ Ruler’s Court. Continue straight and make a left turn at the 3rd stop light. Continue until you reach Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road; the Consulate General will be on your right.

From the Trade Center Roundabout- Take D73 Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road to Al Seef Road. The Consulate General will be on your right by Dubai Creek.

Via Metro – Bur Juman Station Metro Station. Exit station and walk north 2 blocks on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road to Al Seef Road. The Consulate General will be on your right by Dubai Creek.

If you have an emergency after hours, on the weekend or on a holiday, please call 04-309-4000 and ask for the Duty Officer.

In an effort to provide the most efficient service, the American Citizens Services section at the U.S. Consulate General in Dubai has moved to an appointment system for routine services.  Please schedule an appointment online at https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/default.asp?postcode=DUB&appcode=1.  Once you have made an appointment, a confirmation page will appear on your screen.  Please print the confirmation page and bring it with you on the day of your appointment.

NO APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES.

All consular fees are payable in UAE dirhams at the rate of USD $1 = AED 3.69. Credit card payments are processed in U.S. Dollars.
